Codename: Wildgeese - Lewis Collins (1984) - Stubbs Road Lookout, Wanchai

In a shot supposed to be part of the cemetery, we get a glimpse of the HK skyline from the vantage point of Stubbs Road Lookout.

The film finished with a nice unspoilt view across the skyline from the same place. Starting from the area around Happy Valley and finishing pointing back to the sunset towards the Hopewell Centre.

I couldn't resist a couple of (slightly bonkers, thanks to the pan-and-zoom effect) panoramas from this. One with just four shots, and the latter attempting to guess roughly how the fifth should line up...

Not going to win any beauty awards for all the scaling and stretching, but I wanted to see if I could manage anything useful by hand, given that Photoshop's auto-stitching tool wasn't even interested in trying. ;-)

not bad, I guess there was some in and out zooming going on? I tried with Autostitch but it didn't like the final frame with the sunset and left it off. Other than that it's usually a decent job.

Yes, it definitely zoomed out a lot during the clip. I'm on Photoshop CS5.5, and that wasn't remotely capable of stitching by itself...
