Love in Hong Kong - Pauline Teutscher (1983) - Shum Wan Pier Drive and the Jumbo

I'm all for a bit of floating restaurant nostalgia now that all but one have now gone (I recently read that a company has decided to buy the Tai Pak and renovate and reopen sometime.We shall see). Here is a shot of the car arriving at the restaurant piers before the Aberdeen Marina Club was even built. I suspect the blue hoardings in the background of the first couple of images were up to protect the site of where the club's Marina Office Tower/carpark was being built.
