There are some views of the floating restaurants in the opening credits (which also borrow footage from the earlier 1960's German productions we have already looked at), a nice sweeping view taken from the western end of the harbour entrance - most likely from Shak Pai Wan Road, and also some views of the Chinese Permanent Cemetery taken from the same direction.

Hi Phil,
I believe the ALC power plant was all diesel back then. It wasn't until HKE moved to Lamma that they began switching and expanding to coal and natural gas.
Google Earth showed they still have a small tank farm there.

On the other hand, the screen capture only showed two chimneys. The plant was still expanding back then as before it moved to Lamma, there were five, as shown in one of the Hui Brother's movie (with Anita Mui).
