No, not the excellent Michael Cimino film from 1985 (although there was some HK talent in that film), but today marks the start of the Lunar New Year of the Dragon 2024.
I can't seem to find any recent news on him. Find it incredible if true that he went to the same opera school that Sammo, Jackie and the rest of the Yuen named students went to.
He seems to have retired maybe? I don't think he did go to the same school, wiki says "Chin Chiu academy" and I am not sure that was the same place. My understanding is there was quite a few of these places around.
I need to watch that Cimino film this year. It's been on my watch pile for years now. Don't think I've seen it since video.
